As our country continues to navigate its way through these unprecedented times, we wanted to take a moment to share with all of you, especially our customers, the measures Dena Technologies is taking to help control the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Being a PCB designer and assembler, our work is vital in supporting the technology that frontline workers are using to analyze and control this pandemic, in addition to sustaining essential operations needed to keep Canadians safe and cared for.

For that reason, we are continuing our operations while also maintaining a heightened awareness of the current landscape. We understand the incredible risk that is posed by this virus, and all recommendations made by the Canadian government and health experts are being taken very seriously.

Here are some of the regulations that are currently being enforced to help ensure the safety of our employees, customers, their families and our community at large:

  • 14 Day Travel Self-Quarantine – Anyone who has travelled, or interacted with travellers, within the past 14 days has been asked to self-quarantine regardless of their symptoms. Following this quarantine, a conversation will be held with HR to ensure that it is safe for employees to return to work.
  • Work From Home Policy – To reduce the spread of the virus, and as a result the burden on our healthcare system, we have asked all employees who are able to conduct their work from home, to do so. They have been informed of best practices and will be supported with the necessary technology and resources to fulfill their responsibilities.
  • Preventative Education – Employees are taking strict measures when working, especially while they are within the company’s facility. This includes regular handwashing, avoiding touching eyes, nose and mouth, using hand sanitizer when appropriate, keeping workstations clean and sanitized, using nitrile gloves, staggering breaks and overall social distancing.

From a business standpoint, we want all our customers to know that we have implemented a business continuity plan by partnering with other companies in the event our production facility is affected. We are confident and will do everything we can to ensure that your production line is not affected in quality, speed, or delivery. Furthermore, should you have any questions or need further assistance with your orders, please do not hesitate to contact us at 604-765-0880.

Finally, we empathize with the incredible struggles our community and fellow citizens are facing during this time, especially with the unfortunate layoffs that are taking place. That is why we are continuing to hire skilled talent wherever possible. If you, or anyone you know, has been laid off from their job due to COVID-19, please visit https://denatechnologies.com/ to learn more about our company operations and if you feel you can add value, email your Cover Letter and CV to hr@denatechnologies.com.

On behalf of all of us at Dena Technologies, please know we are with you Canada, and together we will get through this. We are proud to support this amazing country and will continue to do our part to overcome the challenges facing us.
